My trip to the theater. And as you can see from the photo to the right I had a
pretty good time. Not to say the
Royal National Theatre's
production of Hamlet I saw earlier this week at the
Guthrie wasn't good (it was),
but they didn't pull me up on stage, put me in a funny hat, hand me a giant rubber bass
and take a Polaroid of me. I don't know if that part is a common plot line in the play or
not, but I know why I got picked. I'm related to Lucy Humde (Julie Weaver). She is
something like my Father's Mother's Sister. Or would that be my Father's Aunt? Or my
Great Aunt? Whatever.. |
If you are near Minneapolis check out the Troupe America Production of How to Talk Minnesotan at the Plymouth Playhouse. And if you have out of towners visiting you, they'll appreciate the lessons so they don't stick out like such a sore thumb afterward.
