Davids Doodle Pad     Version 3.0

Doodles
doo•dle (dõõd'l) v. -dled, dling.   To scribble aimlessly, esp. when preoccupied.
-doódle n.

That about sums it up. These are other miscellaneous HTML and PhotoShop doodles that are not a complete web site by themselves. Many of them are best viewed with a 1024x768 or higher monitor resolution setting. Many of these graphic files are on the big side too, so I hope you have a DSL or faster connection, or lots of patience.

This is a series of three photos of the 1921 storm drain where the Minnehaha creek meets the Mississippi. The first is regular color. The second black and white (grayscale). The third is a modification of the grayscale photo. I started by selecting with the Photoshop magic wand tool and a tolerance of 5 the non-contiguous gray's that represented known constants, the blue sky and darkest colors. I painted those light blue and black respectively. The rest I selected the different major shades of gray and colored them at whim. Winding up with a 6 color photo (not counting white).

Crash Film. I used to be a Race Bike Driver. One bad choice of tires and a little showing off for the camera and there is a completely different outcome.
I wasn't hurt here. In fact I took a bow after and then ran across the track to grab the film from my friend's camera and bring it to the one hour developing at the Brainerd WallMart.

The cheesy lake ripple effect Java applet. Doodle of a picture of the Ford Dam bridge. When the Minnesota DOT was restoring the bridge back in 2002 an engineer contacted me asking if he could use this in a Power Point presentation. I don't know if they ever were able to. I don't think the Javascript applet would work in Power Point.

I'll admit it, I'm from Minnesota and talk with a funny accent dontcha know. It's not so bad. Check out the play How to Talk Minnesotan sometime. It's a heckuva deal!

Page 1 Just messing with PhotoShop.
Page 2 Also messing with PhotoShop.
Page 3 Cool animated gif, and the first one I ever made. It has 63 frames, is only 43 KBs, and about 20 seconds long, depending on the speed of your computer.
