Web Design

These are the web sites I have finished so far. More are in the works and will be appearing here shortly. If you are looking for an affordable web site please click here to contact me.

Bohemian Design

My first dot com web site. And no, it doesn't have anything to do with western Czechoslovakia, gypsies or crystal; more with its artistic connotation. This is my web design company. In keeping with its name, I try to bring a more artistic, different-from-the-norm approach to web design. Anybody nowadays can create the typical cookie-cutter web site. What I do I'm proud to say is different. I offer style. If you want your company to be different from the rest, your web site should be too. Take a look and tell me what you think.

Princeton Reimbursement Group Princeton Reimbursement Group already had their logo and colors when we started working together. It was very important to PRG that we maintain their corporate identity in the design for their web site. Ease of navigating the plethora of information was also imperative.
From the Javascript pop-up menu allowing you instant access to any part of the site, and the interactive services compass on the home page, this is a feature rich site compatible with all modern web browsers and platforms.

ITC Intercircuit ITC Intercircuit is a Printed Circuit Board manufacture and PCB manufacturing equipment retailer. They had a rather large existing site that was in much need of updating, and tight budget.
It can be time consuming to create the large number of quality photos in a site like this which can drive the finial cost up tremendously. By combining each piece of equipments's individual page into a single page for each manufacturer I was able to keep the cost low. Through proper image optimization and HTML coding techniques I was also able to keep the download size of the largest pages under 100KBs for acceptable page load times.

Horwath Resource Group is a consulting company for the medical technology industry. They wanted a cost effective, professional looking, business card site.
They originally were in need of a better company email system. Due to the volatility of ISP these days, their email addresses were changing too often. This was troublesome to their clients as they would have to update their address books. The solution was to purchase their own URL (horwathrg.com) and have their email hosted by me. Since they had the domain, they may as well publish a web site.

Big Johnson 2x4 company. This is a site I designed as a class project for a web design course I took at the University of Minnesota. Don't take it too seriously. It's just a fictitious 2x4 company, and an attempt at humor. Check it out, and tell me what you think. If the web design thing doesn't work out for me, maybe I should consider the 2x4 business...

The Raven

Experiments with a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore. I wonder what Poe would say if he knew that I was using his poem for an experiment with CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) and Dynamic Fonts. If all works correctly, the text should be in a font called Caslon, a type face invented about the same time "The Raven" was written. When this works you'll need at least Netscape version 4 or Internet Explorer version 5 for it to display properly. Which you should be using anyway, they're free.
